Blue Tour

You will be picked up from your hotel by vehicles between 09:00 and 10:00 in the morning to start the Blue Tour.
The Blue Tour begins with a visit to Mustafapaşa, an ancient Greek town, and covers Soğanlı Valley and Kaymaklı Underground City. In this village, you will see numerous buildings dating back centuries, including many former Orthodox Christian schools, churches, and Greek mansions. It is said that Mustafapaşa was the largest Greek city in Cappadocia, with a population of 2 million, until the population exchange of 1924 when Greeks and Turks swapped places. Continuing our tour, we visit the famous Keşlik Monastery, known for its rare frescoes. At the Sobesos excavation site in Şahinefendi Village, you can see Roman baths, tombs, and basilicas, with ongoing archaeological excavations. After having lunch, our journey continues with a walk in Soğanlı Valley, known as one of the region’s three major monastic centers. We conclude our tour with a visit to Kaymaklı Underground City, an impressive underground complex.
